Gilardino believes that Mutu is very important for the Viola and his presence on the pitch would be a boost for the team as they take on the German champions.

"Having Adrian (Mutu) on the pitch tomorrow will be very important both for me and the team," admitted the former Milan player.

"I think that he's a great player and I think that, with his characteristics and mine, we can integrate perfectly.
