Reports around the peninsula on Monday suggested that the under-fire striker has already moved to the Rossoneri. However his agent has confirmed that talks are still on-going for the former Parma hit-man but nothing is certain just yet.

"Gilardino to Fiorentina? I don't think so, there are still talks between the clubs in place and so I cannot say anything else just yet," said Bonetto.

It is likely that the Biella-born hit man will sign for the Viola where he will be reunited with his old Parma coach Cesare Prandelli.

The tactician got the best out of Gilardino when they were together at the Ducali and he will be hoping the striker is on fire next term following a dismall term with Milan.

The Viola are in the Champions League and no doubt the striker will be a welcome addition to their squad as they look to mount a serious challenge on the continent.

Gilardino's poor season with the Rossoneri ended up costing him a place in the Italy squad for Euro 2008.

我个人认为没得差了
我们没有竞争对手
我反倒关心巴尔扎利的转会
就看周四前能否得到官方的消息了
