ierluigi Casiraghi’s debut on the Under-21 bench was a disappointing 0-0 draw against Croatia, but Giuseppe Rossi impressed.

The European Under-21 Championship qualifiers begin in a fortnight and Italy open by taking on Austria on September 5 in Forli.

>欧洲的青年队对年龄的要求和我们其他地方不一样，这和他们的赛制有关，这回的青年队是1984年1月一号以后出生的就可以进了，这回这个青年队对应的比赛是07年的一个青年比赛，但不是传统意义上的U23欧青赛（双年进行）,所以只要07年的时候23岁及以下就可以了。传统的欧青赛这次世界杯完之前就打完了，所以那次比赛的青年队是83年1月1号后出生的球员就可以了，像bovo，比安齐这些球员就参加了的。下次u23欧青赛是08年，同时也是北京奥运会的预选赛。上次雅典预选赛意大利是冠军。希望08年还能夺冠。

>所以说下次欧青赛，也就是北京奥运预选赛，按现在fio和意大利青年队员的情况，除了montolivo，基本上没有FIO什么事儿（目前看来）。去年世青赛（85年龄段）的意大利国青仿佛也就一个阿圭兰蒂是FIO的，目前也没有什么发展了。
