Marcello Bonetto, agent of Gilardino, has squashed the rumours that his client will be looking for any other big teams at the end of the season, as he confirmed that the Viola will be his team for a long time.
"He is here to stay," affirmed the player's agent. "In Serie A he scored 98 goals and I'm not surprised that in Florence he started scoring regularly again.
"In Milan there was something, which I can't understand, that went wrong, but that's in the past now.
"Without any doubt, since his deal with Fiorentina, his value has already increased. This is also due to the good things he showed on the international level, more than he did in the past.
"Alberto made a choice about his future, not only the present."
Avramov's career has stalled since he joinedFiorentina after successful spells at Vicenza and Pescara.
The Serb has made just two Serie A appearances for la Viola, his most productive period while on the club's books coming during his loan stint at Treviso in 2006-07.
While the 29-year-old was always going to struggle to displace Sebastien Frey (pictured), who is widely regarded as one of Europe's finest goalkeepers, he now finds himself behind both Marco Storari and youth prospect Andrea Seculin in the pecking order.
As such, the former Vojvodina custodian is eager to leave the Stadio Artemi Franchi during the winter with the aim of reviving his career.
Avramov has just under two years remaining on his contract with Fiorentina.
The left-back's situation seems to have changed radically from last season. He was a constant first choice under Prandelli the past few years, but now it seems that Pasqual is not a part of the coach's project.
The 26-year-old now seems to be third in the pecking order at the Viola, behind Juan Manuel Vargas and Massimo Gobbi, for the left defensive position.
The player was a target for Napoli, Milan and Juventus in the summer but opted to stay at Fiorentina instead of trying a different venue. The player's agent, Gastone Rizzato, confirmed that his client could be leaving the club in the winter transfer window, but he did not rule out a compromise that would see Pasqual remain at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
"We are serious people and therefore we respect the choices of Mr. Prandelli, even though we may not agree with them," explained Rizzato. "We considered a move in May, but Fiorentina reiterated that he was unsellable, now the current situation caught us unprepared. Of course, if the situation remains the same I'm sure Fiorentina will want to sell Pasqual in January."
Pasqual arrived at Fiorentina in 2005 and his performances even saw him earn a few call-ups for the Italian national team. The player has made nearly 100 appearances for the Viola in Serie A.
