Seeking a striker, Fiorentina, according to La Nazione, have contacted Atalanta for 31 year old Germán Gustavo Denis.


4.Atalanta midfielder Luca Cigarini, who has enjoyed a superb start to the season, is attracting interest from Rubin Kazan and Fiorentina according to his agent.
His agent Giovanni Bia told SportItalia that his client has confessed his interest in joining either Rubin Kazan or the Viola although Atalanta do not want to lose the player. Italian defender Salvatore Bocchetti is currently plying his trade with the Russian side while elsewhere in that league, Domenico Criscito and Luciano Spalletti are both at Zenit St Petersburg.


5.Fiorentina, still in the hunt for a new striker, have turned their attentions now to trying to tempt Schalke’s Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to Tuscany.
His contract expires next summer which has lead to many European clubs inquiring about the player with Daniele Prade of the Viola one of the many interested parties.
