Fiorentina defender Manuel Pasqual has expressed his desire to play in the Champions League next season, something which he could do if the club decide to hold on to him.

The 27-year-old joined the Viola from Arezzo back in 2005 on a co-ownership deal, before he convinced coach Cesare Prandelli to acquire the other half of his contract the following year.
