The Fiorentina defender hailed the great maturity shown by his team during the Viola's 1-1 draw against Milan at San Siro on Monday night.
Defender Alessandro Gamberini was very satisfied with how Fiorentina played against the European Champions of Milan in the second matchday of Serie A.
"We had great maturity," declared the Viola player.
"We're a young team which is growing and we have proved this against a great Milan: it's one of the strongest teams in Europe. After the goal we reacted like a great team."
Zdravko Kuzmanovic agreed with his team-mate.
"We played a great match between two great teams," he said. "I had a great chance, but unfortunately I hit the post.
"We proved a great personality, playing 90 minutes in a great way. The result is fair."
This result leaves both Fiorentina and Milan at 4 points after two matchdays, with Roma and Juventus at the top of the standings with full points.
